Siam who started his career as a model shared his celluloid journey with New Age.
I started my career in silver screen through Poramon-2. I am still new in the industry and each new film enables me to hone my acting skills, Siam told New Age.
I am fortunate that the film lovers really liked my performance in Poramon -2. After the film my career took off and I started getting multiple offers. I am thankful to film lovers for their support, he added.
Siam s second film Dahan, directed by Raihan Rafi, was released in cinemas in October.
Siam, who played the role of a delinquent for hire in the film, says the film was released at the right time.
Dahan depicts how corrupted politicians destroy lives of innocent people for their own benefit.
The film helped me play a new character in contrast to my previous role which has expanded my horizon as an actor, he added.
Siam will be playing a language movement activist in his upcoming film Phagun Hawa.
I am very proud of my upcoming film Phagun Hawa because it s the first feature film which is based on the language movement. The young generation of the country doesn t know much about the history of the language movement. The film will render a glimpse of it, said Siam.
It s an educative film. It will be released on January 10, 2019. I have learned a lot working under Phagun Hawa s experienced director Tauqir Ahmed. Besides, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, who has acted opposite me in the film, is a very talented actress, he added.
While talking about acting in teleplays, Siam said he will consider it provided the role excites him.
Siam recently got married to Shamma Rushafy.
Now I am busy with my wife and family members and am not thinking about anything else. I seek prayers and well wishes from all, Siam said.
My wife Shamma has been an inspiration for me, concluded Siam
