General Secretary of the ruling Awami League (AL) Obaidul Quader asked his party leaders and activists don’t do politics of vengeance after being inspired with landslide victory of the grand alliance in the 11th parliamentary election.
Politics is look like a tide and low. Sometimes it experiences tide and sometimes low. So, don t show any vengeance and attack on the opponents after being inspired with experiencing tide with achieving landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary election,” he said at Rupali Chattar, Basurhat Municipality under Companiganj Upazila in Noakhali.
Giving an immediate reaction after the absolute victory of the AL led grand alliance, Quader, also Road and Transport Minister said, “Don t bring out jubilant processions rather celebrate the historic win at home. Don t do excess as I do not believe in the politics of vengeance.”
“The grand alliance has achieved a huge win due to people s upsurge against anti-liberation forces and in favour of the massive development under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he continued.
“We will start a journey afresh towards development of the country after taking lessons from wrong doings of the past,” he said, adding that they will generate employment for the youths.”
Among others, Noakhali district AL organizing secretary Samsuddin Selim, Companiganj Upazila Parishad chairman Mizanur Rahman Badal, Upazila AL president Khijir Hayat, mayor of Basurhat municipality Abdul Kader Mirza, and Kabirhat Upazila AL president Nurul Amin Rumi, were present on the occasson.
