Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda on Monday ruled out any possibility of holding re-election demanded by opposition alliance Jatiya Oikya Front.
There is no scope to hold re-election in the country,” he said while talking to newsmen, a day after the general election of the country.
“The allegation of ballot stuffing on the night before the election is completely untrue,” the CEC said and rejected it.
He stated that the voter turnout in the national election was 80 per cent and expressed his satisfaction over the election atmosphere.
He also said there may have some unexpected incidents during the voting and those incidents will be investigated.
