The play ’Hamlet’, originally written by William Shakespeare, has been translated and adapted by late writer Syed Shamsul Haq and directed by eminent director Ataur Rahman.

’Hamlet’ is a play that undertakes a profound exploration of moral dilemmas; it is also audacious and comic-tragedy with the themes of murder, distrust, clandestine affairs, palace-conspiracy and revenge.

The production gets a new dimension as poems and songs by Rabindranath Tagore, Jibanananda Das and Syed Shamsul Haq have been incorporated with the interference of light comedy of traditional jatrapala.

Tickets will be available in front of the hall before the show. The interested audience can contact 01720172426 or 01733892961 for an advance ticket.
