Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader joined his secretariat office on Sunday (today), May 19 after returning home following his treatment in Singapore.
Quader, also Awami League General Secretary reached his ministry office around 10:20am, sources said.
Earlier on Wednesday, Quader returned home from Singapore where he was under treatment after 2 months and 11 days.
After undergoing successful bypass surgery in Singapore Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 20, he was discharged from the hospital on April 5 and later he stayed over a month at a rented house near the hospital.
On March 3, Quader was admitted to Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital after he felt chest pain.
Later, he was taken to Singapore after receiving a consultation of eminent Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Prasad Shetty.
