3G and 4G data services of mobile phone were restored on Friday morning after around 10 hours of suspension across Bangladesh
Zakir Hossain Khan, senior assistant director of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission told UNB that 3G and 4G data services were resumed around 8:00am.
Following the directives of BTRC, mobile phone operators restored 3G and 4G services.
Earlier, BTRC on Thursday night asked all mobile phone operators to suspend the services across the country ahead of 11th general election on Sunday.
The move came following instructions from Election Commission to slow down mobile internet speed.
BTRC sent a letter to mobile phone companies asking them to implement directive immediately.
