National Film Award-winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo will be seen sharing screen with promising actor Manoj Kumar and popular actress Moushumi Hamid in a unique telefilm titled ‘Bird’s Eye’. Written by Matia Banu Shuku and directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, the telefilm has been produced for telecasting in Eid-ul-Fitr.
Regarding the story of the telefilm, Nazrul Islam Raju said, “From her childhood, Mithila’s hobby is to fly kites in the sky. Apparently, she likes everything which flies in the sky. So, when she grows up, she takes up a job of a drone operator in shooting in order to fulfil her childhood dream. Later, one day, the girl gets raped by the husband of her best friend and cannot tell anybody. The story of ’Bird’s Eye’ continues.”
In the telefilm, Mamo has played the challenging role of Mithila and Moushumi has portrayed the role of her best friend while Manoj has played opposite Mamo in the telefilm. Apart from the artiste trio, renowned actor Shatabdi Wadud will be seen playing the role of best friend’s husband.
About her character, Mamo said, “I have earlier worked under the direction of Nazrul Islam Raju. He directs his projects with lots of care. I am really satisfied working in the telefilm. I have portrayed a completely unique role.”
Commenting on the story, Moushumi said. “The story of ’Bird’s Eye’ is completely different from the regular story we come across every day. The telefilm has brought out the unspoken stories of the society. I am optimistic that it will be well liked by the audience.”
“In the telefilm, I have played a strange character named Pekham that the viewers never watched earlier. Among my other works of various types in this Eid, it would be entirely a unique work,” said Manoj on his part.
The telefilm ’Bird’s Eye’ will be aired on NTV at 2:30pm on the fifth day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
