A domestic flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday afternoon due to a fault in a front tyre, reports

Biman General Manager (Public Relations) Shakil Meraj said soon after it took off from MAG Osmani International Airport in Sylhet carrying 61 passengers, the pilot of the Dhaka-bound flight noticed that one of the front tyres is faulty.

Following the fault, the flight made the emergency landing at the Dhaka airport safely around 4:10 pm, he said.

Meraj also said all the passengers and the pilot along with his crewmembers disembarked from the aircraft unharmed.
